Justin A. Baney

Justin is a husband to his beautiful wife, Kie Baney.  Kie and Justin have 3 wonderful children: Zion (11), Acacia (9) and Declan (6); all of whom are students in the New Buffalo School System.  Justin was raised in Three Oaks, MI and never thought he'd return.  After starting to have children, it made sense to move back "home" because it's a good place to raise a family.

Justin has a Bachelors of Arts from Moody Bible Institute.  He has experience helping high school students get scholarships to college at Career Academy of South Bend.  He is actively involved in his local church in New Buffalo.

For the last 10 years, Justin helped build a local business that many love.  Within the last 2 years, Justin decided it was time to move on to the next adventure.  Currently, Justin works at a high school in South Bend, IN.

Like many others, Justin was never interested in politics outside of voting.  Wanting to be more involved with his children and influence positive change for not just his family, but community families is what led Justin to the decision to run for the school board.
